Job Type: Direct Hire
Starting Pay: $32.00/hour, with higher pay available based on experience

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to direct field installation crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metalwork. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating job-site activities, maintaining installation quality, and ensuring all work is completed safely and according to project requirements.

  • Supervise field crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal components.
  • Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor.
  • Review blueprints and ensure accurate layout and installation.
  • Plan crew assignments and coordinate required materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Verify employee certifications and enforce job-site safety requirements.
  • Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and company service vehicles.
  • Act as the on-site safety representative and enforce PPE and project-specific safety procedures.
  • Lead Tool-Box Shop Talks and reinforce general safety practices.
  • Monitor work progress and address field issues as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals or a related field preferred.
  • Previous Foreman or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and safety documentation.
  • Strong basic math skills, including working with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
  • Working knowledge of AWS D1.1.
  • Familiarity with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
  • Current welding certifications or the ability to successfully pass a weld test.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and safety skills.
