About the Role

MaxAccelerate is seeking skilled IBM Maximo Technical Developers to join our delivery team for enterprise-level projects with our client, Everest. This is a developer-focused role (80% development / 20% support) ideal for candidates with a strong background in Maximo customization, MAS (Maximo Application Suite), and reporting (BIRT/COGNOS).

Key Responsibilities

Mid-Level Developer (5–8 Years)

• Design and enhance Maximo applications to align with client business requirements
• Customize workflows, MBOs, automation scripts, and UI components
• Develop and maintain BIRT reports (COGNOS is a plus)
• Collaborate with functional analysts and business stakeholders
• Participate in low-volume ticket support and bug fixing (20%)
• Adhere to ITIL-aligned change and incident management processes

Senior Developer (8–12 Years)

• Architect and lead custom Maximo solutions and integrations
• Develop complex BIRT and COGNOS reports for enterprise reporting needs
• Design and manage integrations via MIF, REST/SOAP, or ESBs
• Mentor mid-level developers and conduct code reviews
• Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders
• Provide occasional support and advanced troubleshooting

Skills & Experience

Required

• 5+ years of hands-on Maximo technical development
• Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS)
• Strong skills in automation scripting, MBO customization (Java), and App Designer
• Proficiency in BIRT reporting; familiarity with COGNOS preferred
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Exposure to support environments and incident resolution workflows
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes

Preferred (Especially for Senior Candidates)

• IBM Maximo or MAS certifications
• Experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems
• Strong command of SQL, Java, and scripting languages
• Integration with ESBs, WebMethods, or custom-built connectors
