Delivering a successful robotaxi experience depends on the seamless integration of software, operations, services, and end-user interactions. Continuously testing this end-to-end system is a complex challenge—one that demands innovative engineering approaches and a broad range of skills and expertise.
As the Product Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of Software Development Engineers in Test and Quality Assurance Engineers in designing and executing robust, continuous tests at a systems and applications level. Your role will require close cross-functional collaboration with developers, product managers, technical program managers, designers, and our project management office to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
You'll help define success metrics and shape strategies for team growth and development. You will also bring hands-on technical proficiency, strong leadership, and a “shift-left” mindset—prioritizing quality from the earliest stages of the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field, with 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or development, including 5+ years focused on cloud-based application stacks.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing teams, driving project execution, balancing resources, and fostering team growth.
- Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience integrating diverse test frameworks into cohesive, scalable system testing solutions.
- Bring a strong quality assurance mindset and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
