Program / Role Overview
Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is designed to accelerate your development through immersive, hands-on experience across key areas of our business. Over 24 months, you’ll rotate through multiple teams, gaining exposure to both the core fundamentals of banking and the strategic innovation that drives our digital future.
If you are entering your final year of undergraduate studies in Fall 2026, this is your opportunity to launch your career in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment and make a meaningful impact as part of our September 2027 cohort.
Responsibilities
Why EQB? What’s in it for you?
Being a traditional bank just isn’t our thing. We believe Canadians deserve better banking – more human and more inclusive. That’s why we challenge ourselves to rethink what’s possible and deliver smarter, simpler options. Our team is made up of inquisitive and agile minds that find smarter ways of doing things. You’ll gain real exposure to the financial services industry, meaningful autonomy and the chance to collaborate with people who will encourage you to reach new heights.
At EQ, you'll gain more than just rotational experience. The Leadership Development Program is designed to accelerate your growth through meaningful work, broad business exposure, and opportunities to learn from experienced leaders across the organization.
You will benefit from:
-
Broad Business Exposure: Build a deeper understanding of banking through rotations across key business lines and functions, helping you develop a well-rounded view of how EQ operates.
-
Hands-On Experience: Contribute to real business priorities, work on meaningful projects, and develop practical skills that create value for the business and our customers.
-
Mentorship & Development: Receive guidance, feedback, and support from leaders, managers, and colleagues throughout your rotational journey.
-
Cross-Functional Networking: Build relationships across teams and business areas while expanding your professional network and understanding of the organization.
-
Future Career Opportunities: Following successful completion of the program, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role aligned with your strengths, interests, and business needs.
