[Job - 31429] Data Engineer Specialist

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the complete data chain for the Foundation Pod, covering ingestion, Bronze, Silver, Gold layers, and the Power BI semantic layer.

• Pipeline Development: Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and Gold certified datasets to drive BI and analytics.

• Semantic Modeling & BI: Develop and govern high-performance Power BI semantic models and dashboards.

• Data Architecture: Implement robust Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and integration layers aligned with the global data strategy.

• Data Quality & Governance: Establish automated quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring systems to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability.

• System Integration: Develop integrations between ERP/CRM sources, third-party tools, and analytics platforms, coordinating with the Core Team's Data Architect on platform standards.

• Performance & Cost Optimization: Fine-tune query performance, monitor pipeline execution times, and manage cloud storage/compute costs.

• Technical Leadership: Direct the work of peer engineers, uphold strict pipeline SLAs, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

What We Are Looking For (Required Skills)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake (or equivalent Azure data platform experience).

• Proven track record designing Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architectures end-to-end.

• Expertise in Azure Data Factory pipeline design and data contract definition.

• Deep experience in Power BI semantic modeling and advanced DAX authoring.

• Practical experience integrating ERP and CRM source systems into a unified data platform.

• Strong technical leadership skills (ability to direct engineering work and hold pipeline SLAs).

• Professional English proficiency (B2+ level or higher).

 

 Nice to Have 

• Experience with Infor SyteLine or Infor ION integrations.

• Experience handling regulated or medical-device data within an ISO 13485 context.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD for data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with source systems like OneStream, Workday, or Fusion PLM.
