Job Role – IT Consultant

Location – Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Working Type – Remote working mode (Just occasionally Onsite visit)

Services Required:

• Conception, Development, Testing and Maintenance of the GAT and RILkE applications.
• Providing technical expertise and development support for the integration of applications with external systems (SAP, AWS Cloud).
• Refining, evaluating, and implementing requirements from the product backlog (Agile/Scrum approach).
• Technical support for the analysis, design, and documentation of system architectures.
• Regular release of updates and issue resolutions based on defined sprints and backlog management.
• Advice on strategic issues and improvement of system architectures.
• Support in setting up development and test environments.
• Interface definition and implementation.

Project Details:

• Technical Requirements:
• GAT: Involves transforming train-related billing data for integration with SAP accounting systems (cost centers, cross-company billing).
• RILkE: Focuses on maintenance, cleaning, and vehicle change planning. Involves communication with vehicle deployment planning and dispatch systems, and adjusting train formation plans.
• Both systems use Oracle SQL, APEX, and AWS Cloud for data processing and system integration.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience:
• At least 4 years of practical experience in IT consulting or similar roles.
• Experience in the transport and logistics sector, specifically with planning, scheduling, and invoicing of transport services.
• Strong knowledge of the technologies and tools used in the project (Oracle SQL, APEX, AWS, UML, Enterprise Architect, Jira).
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Waterfall.
