Internal Control Apprentice (Operations)

Join us as Internal Control Apprentice (Operations) to help keep Qonto's operational processes accurate, compliant, and audit-ready as we scale across Europe. You'll run real, autonomous controls each month, analyzing processes, writing sharp recommendations, and working with different teams under the guidance of Ismaël Tchala, our Lead Internal Control. Ismaël and his team of 6 internal controllers focus on maintaining the operational mastery and efficiency of Qonto's Operations department, ensuring accurate reporting, and strengthening compliance with laws and internal policies.

➡️ What you'll do

• Run multiple controls per month on operational processes: You'll own each control end-to-end, from analysis to final report, with a strong focus on France across all markets.
• Audit onboarding and customer success processes: You'll assess whether they hold up against our internal standards, end to end.
• Write clear, actionable control reports: You'll translate your findings into structured recommendations that stakeholders can actually act on.
• Follow up on remediation plans until they're closed: When a gap is identified, you own the follow-up — no fix is complete until it's fully deployed.
• Use AI to work faster and document smarter: You'll leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting across your monthly control cycle.
