GTM Sales Lead - Decentralized Derivatives Exchange

Location: Remote - No strict requirements. Must attend 2 meetings a week with people in ET timezone. Happy to consider people worldwide.

Compensation: $160K - $200K

We are the largest decentralized perpetual exchange on a leading Layer 2 network, processing over $20 billion in cumulative trading volume. We specialize in enabling leveraged trading of real-world assets (RWAs)—commodities, forex, indices, and stocks—alongside crypto, bringing global markets on-chain with full self-custody. We are a small team building critical infrastructure trusted by the market, and we are looking for a GTM Sales Lead to scale our VIP trader base and market presence.

Reporting directly to the Head of Growth and a Co-founder, you will be the first dedicated Go-to-Market hire, tasked with building the playbook for scaling to $1B+ daily volume. This is not a traditional sales role—you will own entire growth verticals, demanding a scrappy, execution-focused hustler who thinks strategically and has a deep understanding of on-chain trading.

Responsibilities:

  • VIP Relationship Ownership: Own the day-to-day relationships with our highest-value traders via Telegram/Discord, and develop the pipeline of future VIPs.
  • Trader Acquisition: Hunt down and convert high-volume traders on-chain and across other platforms using relentless, scrappy tactics (e.g., applying referral codes, scraping wallet data, cold outreach, pitching a trade).
  • Campaign Execution: Design and run targeted campaigns for churned users, CEX traders, and crypto-curious users, creating incentive programs (boosted points, referrals) that genuinely resonate.
  • Market Expansion: Drive our push into new markets (regionally and by trader type), owning the execution and being ready to pivot strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Strategy & Performance: Track key metrics (volume, user acquisition, VIP activity) and provide regular, actionable insights to leadership to craft further growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Trading Expertise: Is passionate about trading and has direct experience trading.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of perpetuals, leverage, and how on-chain traders think.
  • Relationship Management: Track record managing high-value relationships and driving measurable results.
  • Network: Network in VIP trading circles or high-volume DeFi communities.
  • Execution & Mindset: Executes relentlessly but thinks strategically—a true hustler who is scrappy and willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • Balance: Can balance crypto-native tactics with fresh ideas from other, established industries.
