Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to direct field crews installing stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metalwork. This role oversees daily site activities, coordinates installation work, and helps ensure projects are completed safely and to quality standards.

  • Lead and supervise crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals.
  • Coordinate daily field activities with the General Contractor.
  • Read blueprints and handle layout requirements for proper installation.
  • Organize labor, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Verify crew certifications and enforce site-specific safety requirements.
  • Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and company service vehicles.
  • Act as the on-site safety representative and enforce PPE and project safety plans.
  • Lead or participate in toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Ensure completed work meets project requirements and quality expectations.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications

  • 5+ years of miscellaneous metals experience preferred.
  • Previous Foreman or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety documentation.
  • Strong math skills, including working with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
  • Working knowledge of AWS D1.1.
  • Experience with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
  • Current welding certifications or the ability to successfully complete a weld test.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and job-site organization skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.
