Job Description

Rockstar is recruiting for a fast-growing, venture-backed cybersecurity SaaS startup that supports some of the largest Fortune 20 customers in the world. This client is an industry innovator, building the first intelligent incident response platform to help enterprises achieve operational resilience. The company is led by a seasoned executive team and backed by top cybersecurity VC firms, including Ballistic Ventures and SYN Ventures. This is an opportunity to join a small, high-performing team experiencing explosive growth and to make a significant impact in the cybersecurity space.

The client is seeking an exceptional Enterprise Account Executive eager to take their career to the next level at an exciting and innovative market leader. This is a remote position and a key early hire for the Sales team. The successful candidate will understand how to make an impact and create the greatest value in an organization. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

The ideal candidate has the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented environment. This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience and a proven track record exceeding quota by closing large 6-figure deals. Experience selling a platform to multiple cross-functional key stakeholders is a must. The candidate should know how to navigate complex opportunities in large organizations, with a question-asking and discovery process that is second to none. The ability to uncover all relevant information about the customer and opportunity, and to understand what’s required for success, is essential.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a small team, make a huge impact, and get in on the ground floor of a top-tier venture-funded startup experiencing explosive 200% year-over-year growth. The Series A funding round was led by Ballistic Ventures, and board members include the former CEO of (now Google) Mandiant and the former CEO of RSA (the cybersecurity conference).

Please note: As a minimum requirement for this role, the candidate must have closed at least one (1) Fortune 20 customer, AND five (5) Fortune 100 OR ten (10) Fortune 500 customers.

The Opportunity

- Thrive in a startup environment where a huge impact can be made.

- Work closely with the founders and executive team to generate revenue.

- Help create pipeline, drive deals, and develop the sales engine as the company continues to scale.

- Quarterback a supporting team (SDR, SE, CSM, TAM, etc.) while managing deal lifecycle from initial outreach through Closed Won and continued expansion.

- Close large enterprise deals with top global brands.

What Success Looks Like

- Develop a thorough understanding of the platform.

- Conduct comprehensive research and prospecting into key verticals and accounts.

- Demonstrate high proficiency and deep competence at leveraging AI in the sales motion.

- Clearly articulate the value proposition and drive new customer engagement.

- Successfully navigate complex organizational structures in large enterprises and ensure all key stakeholders are appropriately involved.

- Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share the product offering with prospective customers.

- Confidently speak with people at all levels in large enterprises, including upper management and C-level executives.

About the Candidate

- A strong desire to win, with an understanding that success often involves doing things the hard way because it is the right way. Cutting corners is not an option.

- Outperforms others by working longer, harder, and smarter, retiring more quota faster as a result.

- Possesses a growth mindset, does not take things personally, actively seeks feedback, and strives to set the bar at all times.

- Comfortable being uncomfortable, understanding that this fuels growth and achievement. Acts as a professional sales athlete.

- Demonstrates unparalleled persistence. A creative, assertive problem-solver who is curious, prepared, team-oriented, and a self-starter.

- Organized and detail-oriented, with incredible follow-through. Highly accountable, positive, and enjoyable to work with.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to roll up sleeves to figure things out.

- Ability to balance and effectively manage competing priorities and multiple projects/deals simultaneously.

- Extremely well-organized, quick learner, self-directed, highly energetic, professional, and flexible. Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment. Possesses a sense of humor.

- Precise attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience selling into Security preferred. Selling into Legal is a value-add.

- Background in organized sports or experience working in a small team environment is a plus.

- College degree or equivalent required.
