Job Description
Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of sensor technology as well as the compute platform for our vehicles. In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to design high-speed digital and embedded systems in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and requirements.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electronic control unit designs
- Solid fundamental knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits.
- Hands-on experiences in designs with MCUs, A/D converters, Serializer/Deserializers, PHYs, and power converters.
- Understanding of power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) principles and implementation in PCB designs.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experiences with automotive EMC compliance.
- Experiences with automotive-grade firmware development.
- Knowledge of automotive functional safety and system-level integration analysis.
