Drafter - Gas Station

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Drafter with a strong background in creating construction and site plans for gas stations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing detailed technical drawings, site layouts, and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.

You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce accurate and professional design deliverables that support commercial fuel station projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings and construction documents for gas station projects, including site layouts, fuel system schematics, and building plans.
• Revise and update existing plans based on client and engineer feedback.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with state, local, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to finalize design details.
• Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to company drafting standards.
• Support permitting and submission processes by preparing complete drawing sets.
• Review field data and incorporate survey and as-built information into plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, specifically in gas station or fuel system design.
• Strong knowledge of civil and architectural drafting standards.
• Experience preparing site plans, grading layouts, fuel system piping, and canopy designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, Civil 3D, or similar software a plus).
• Ability to interpret and apply municipal codes, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external clients.
