Our newly founded branch in the Netherlands, Medetone, is a dynamic and fast-growing care & wellness company that prioritises innovation in healthcare delivery and customer care. We are committed to providing our customers with a seamless, safe, and efficient service.

As part of our next phase of growth, we are preparing to launch our first online pharmacy to service the EU market, with the vision of offering accessible, high-quality healthcare. To support this mission, we are seeking an experienced and motivated EU-licensed Medical Doctor to join our team. 

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and licensed medical doctor based in a European Union country to join our team on a part-time remote basis. The doctor will provide prescription services, medical oversight, and clinical support for our online healthcare platform. This role involves working approximately 2 hours per day to review patient cases, approve prescriptions, and ensure compliance with EU medical regulations.

This position is ideal for a doctor seeking a flexible, remote opportunity to support patients while contributing to a growing digital healthcare service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review patient records and medical histories submitted through our platform.
  • Assess and approve prescription requests in accordance with EU medical standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide remote medical advice and ensure safe prescribing practices.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with our clinical and operational teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Stay updated on relevant medical regulations, best practices, and prescribing guidelines in the EU.

Requirements

Requirements 

  • Must be a licensed medical doctor in an EU country with full prescribing rights.
  • Strong knowledge of prescribing practices, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
  • Experience in telemedicine or digital healthcare is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions clearly and professionally.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to ethical medical practice.
  • Ability to work independently for a fixed 2-hour daily commitment.
  • Proficiency in French (native or fluent) and C1 English preferred.
