In this role you will:
- Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues before they impact customers.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term preventive solutions.
- Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS Fargate) and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Improve observability by developing monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure costs, security, and operational efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Experience administering Kubernetes clusters (preferably Amazon EKS) and ECS Fargate.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Routing, Firewalls).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
- English level: Intermediate+ or higher.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows.
- Experience administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management).
- Experience with Security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
- Experience working in high-load, highly available production environments.
- Experience with GCP or Hetzner.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD).
