In this role you will:
  • Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues before they impact customers.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term preventive solutions.
  • Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting.
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS Fargate) and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Improve observability by developing monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
  • Continuously optimize infrastructure costs, security, and operational efficiency.
Skills and experience you will need:
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
  • Experience administering Kubernetes clusters (preferably Amazon EKS) and ECS Fargate.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Routing, Firewalls).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
  • English level: Intermediate+ or higher.
Would be a plus:
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
  • Experience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows.
  • Experience administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management).
  • Experience with Security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Experience working in high-load, highly available production environments.
  • Experience with GCP or Hetzner.
  • AWS or Kubernetes certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD).
