Customer Service Agent

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Service Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

You'll be the first friendly voice UK customers hear, resolving queries and keeping them happy across chat, email and calls.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries via live chat, email and phone
• Log and track cases accurately in the CRM
• Resolve complaints calmly and escalate where needed
• Follow up to confirm issues are fully resolved
• Spot recurring issues and flag them to the team

What you'll need

• Experience in a customer-facing or support role
• Familiarity with CRM or helpdesk software
• Clear, friendly written and spoken English
• Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
• Patience under pressure and a problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

• Experience in a UK-facing support role
• Familiarity with Zendesk or similar tools
• Exposure to live chat support
