Customer Service Agent

Role overview

Remote Recruitment is hiring a remote Customer Service Agent to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll be the friendly first point of contact, helping customers by phone, email and chat. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries by phone, email and live chat
• Resolve issues promptly and follow up where needed
• Log interactions and update customer records
• Escalate complex cases to the right team
• Help improve the customer experience with feedback

What you'll need

• Experience with customer service or support roles
• Familiarity with helpdesk or CRM software
• Patience, empathy and clear communication
• Clear written and spoken English
• A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
