CRM & Automation Specialist (HubSpot) - EST Hours (Remote)

Our U.S. Client is looking for a highly skilled CRM & Automation Specialist with strong experience in HubSpot to design, implement, and manage automation workflows. This role will involve building advanced automations, optimizing CRM processes, integrating HubSpot with other platforms, and ensuring data integrity. The right candidate will bring both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to advise on best practices.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Working Hours: This role requires you to work EST hours Mon - Fri from 9am to 6pm EST (15h00 to midnight South African time - subject to change in accordance with daylight savings in the United States).
• You will be required to work on both South African and US public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA)
• Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize HubSpot automations and workflows (from simple to advanced).
• Set up and manage integrations with other systems (via APIs or third-party tools).
• Customize HubSpot pipelines, forms, and reporting dashboards.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain clean, accurate CRM data.
• Train internal teams on using HubSpot efficiently.
• Stay updated on HubSpot features and recommend improvements.
• Partner with leadership to align automation strategy with business goals.

• 3+ years’ experience with HubSpot CRM and automation workflows.
• Proven track record building complex automations (beyond simple workflows).
• Experience with API integrations and connecting HubSpot to external platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to create and interpret CRM reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bonus: HTML/CSS knowledge, experience with other CRMs or marketing automation tools.
