Content & SEO Strategist

Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through effective digital marketing.

As a Content & SEO Strategist, you will develop integrated content and organic search strategies that help clients increase visibility, attract qualified traffic, and generate meaningful business results. You will combine SEO expertise with strong content strategy to identify opportunities, shape editorial plans, and guide content from research through optimization and performance analysis.

You will work closely with copywriters, SEO specialists, designers, developers, and account teams to ensure content supports both search performance and broader marketing objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop content and SEO strategies aligned with client goals, target audiences, and business objectives.
• Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor research, and content gap analysis.
• Build content plans and editorial calendars based on organic growth opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing content, strengthen topical authority, and increase organic visibility.
• Create SEO briefs and strategic direction for writers and content creators.
• Optimize content for search engines while maintaining strong readability, relevance, and user experience.
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions, and other key performance indicators.
• Use performance data to refine content strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with SEO, creative, web, and account teams to deliver integrated client campaigns.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, search intent, and content optimization.
• Experience developing content strategies and editorial plans for multiple audiences or clients.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with technical SEO, content-led growth, local SEO, SaaS or B2B marketing, conversion optimization, AI-assisted content workflows, or managing freelance writers and content teams.
