Job Description

$70,000 – $85,000 a year
Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Superintendent (Commercial Roofing) to join our growing Sudbury branch. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating crews, managing jobsite operations, supporting clients, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Flynn standards.

A Day in the Life

  • Coordinate crews, materials, equipment, and schedules
  • Manage service and production roofing operations
  • Build relationships with clients, contractors, and field teams
  • Conduct site visits to monitor safety, quality, progress, and resolve jobsite challenges
  • Review work orders, service requests, and project documentation
  • Assist with manpower planning and resource allocation
  • Coach and mentor field crews
  • Support emergency service operations and on-call requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Flynn's safety and quality standards
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time in the field and 50% in the office

What We Are Seeking

  • 1-3 years' experience in a construction environment; commercial roofing experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field and office teams
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
