As Associate Director, Episodic Content, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and performance of recurring content experiences that support Humana’s brand, business priorities, and audience interests. In a typical day, you may shape editorial themes, oversee content calendars, coordinate print, audio, and digital production, partner with creative and business teams, and identify external vendors or platforms that can extend Humana’s reach into moments that matter for members, patients, caregivers, and communities.
The Associate Director, Episodic Content leads the strategy, planning, development, and optimization of recurring content across print, audio, and digital publications. This roleleads a teamof senior professionals who work totranslateaudience insights, business priorities, editorial opportunities, and channel requirements into clear content plans and repeatable programs. The Associate Director partners acrossmarketing stakeholders, procurement, vendors, and business teams to deliverengaging lifestylecontent that is useful,entertainingandpertinent. This work helps Humana build stronger relationships with members, patients, caregivers, and communities through relevant content experiences in their everyday lives.
Key Role Functions
- Leadthestrategyforepisodic content programs across print, audio, and digital publications
- Overseeeditorial and content calendars, including themes, timing, dependencies, production milestones, and stakeholder reviews
- Partner withmarketing,business,andlegalstakeholders to deliver content that is audience-centered, onbrand, and compliant
- Identifyand manage relationships with external vendors, platforms, and partners that create new opportunities to engage customers in relevant everyday moments
- Use performance insights, audience feedback, and channel trends to improve content quality, engagement, efficiency, and impact over time

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial strategy, content marketing, publishing, digital content, audio content, or related marketing communications roles
- 2+ years of experience leading associates, managing direct reports, or directing cross-functional content programs or editorial workstreams
- Demonstrated experience developing editorial calendars, content plans, publication strategies, or recurring content series across multiple channels
- Experience partnering with creative, digital, analytics, compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver content in a matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading content development within an in-house agency, health care company, insurance company, media organization, publisher, or other regulated industry
- Experience developing recurring content across print publications, podcasts, audio programs, newsletters, websites, video, or integrated digital experiences
- Experience with content management, workflow, publishing, approval, analytics, or planning platforms such as AEM, Workfront,Aprimo, Sprinklr, Monday.com, Adobe Experience Platform, or similar tools
- Experience managing vendor relationships, production partners, platform partners, or agency resources
- Experience presenting content strategies, editorial recommendations, performance insights, and partnership opportunities to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$126,300 - $173,700 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
