The Government Compliance Analyst II supports the organization’s government compliance program by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of policies and controls aligned with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This role operates as a generalist within the compliance function, partnering with cross-functional teams such as finance, contracts, supply chain, and legal to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. The analyst contributes to internal reviews, documentation efforts, training initiatives, reporting, and continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Support implementation and maintenance of compliance controls related to FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements

Assist in developing, updating, and documenting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Participate in internal compliance reviews, risk assessments, and audit readiness activities

Support preparation and submission of required government filings and disclosures

Assist in development of recurring compliance reports, dashboards, and management reporting materials

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant business practices

Monitor regulatory updates and support impact assessments and implementation efforts

Maintain compliance documentation and support responses to internal and external audits

Requirements

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

2–4 years of experience in government contracting, compliance, accounting, or related field

Foundational knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements

Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting audits (e.g., DCAA/DCMA) is a plus

Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance analysis, reporting, or process efficiency is a plus
