Who we are and what is important to us:

Beyond unifies three technology-driven brands, Wonde, Evouchers and Secure Schools.

Each brand shares a vision to reduce the friction of adapting technology, to help customers navigate an often overwhelming area and provide powerful solutions that make their everyday life easier.

The three brands run independently with the autonomy to continue to prosper although as part of the Beyond team, you’ll join a wider, supportive environment where you’ll be able to pull on the expertise and capabilities of the group.

We do not limit ourselves to standing still. We look ahead and strive to disrupt the sector we operate in. We believe technology should not be complicated or overwhelming. It should do what it says - quickly, safely and efficiently.

Who Wonde is:

Wonde is an innovative and fast-growing, ed-tech scale-up that is on a mission to deliver cutting-edge technologies to improve ways of working for the education sector.

Our goal is to ensure the focus is always on improving learning outcomes for students. We achieve this through a suite of products that simplify how schools manage technology. Our API platform enables secure, reliable data sharing between school systems and third-party applications, while MyLogin provides seamless single sign-on for staff and students, and EduSync automates data synchronisation between schools' management information systems and their IT infrastructure.

By combining innovative technology with deep education sector expertise, we help schools reduce administrative burden, strengthen security and make better use of the technology they rely on. Trusted by thousands of schools globally, we're committed to delivering solutions that save time, improve efficiency and support better outcomes for educators and learners alike.

Job snapshot:

We're looking for a second team member to join our South African team following a successful launch into the region. Working alongside our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in growing our presence in schools and education partners across South Africa.

This is a varied role that combines business development, relationship management and customer success. As a small team, everyone gets involved across the full customer journey - from introducing schools to Wonde, through to onboarding, implementation and helping them get the most from our products. It means you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, influence how we grow in the region and make a real impact from day one.

Success in this role comes from building trust rather than taking a hard sales approach. You'll be confident presenting to schools, comfortable having consultative conversations and focused on helping schools find solutions that genuinely meet their needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively identify and win new schools & education partners, building a strong pipeline of opportunities across South Africa.
  • Build relationships with school leaders, educators and key decision makers, taking a consultative approach to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Wonde's products can support them.
  • Secure meetings, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and confidently guide schools through the sales process from first conversation through to adoption.
  • Work closely with our Business Development Manager to execute the South African growth strategy and increase awareness of Wonde across the education sector.
  • Develop relationships with existing schools, identifying opportunities to introduce additional Wonde products and services as their needs evolve.
  • Support schools through onboarding and implementation, ensuring they have a positive experience and are set up for long-term success.
  • Become a trusted point of contact for schools, building lasting relationships that encourage advocacy, retention and continued growth.
  • Represent Wonde at education events, conferences and networking opportunities, helping to generate new leads and strengthen our presence within the market.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business, sharing customer feedback and market insights to help shape how we continue to grow in South Africa.

Requirements

What we’re hoping you’ll bring:

  • Experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar role where you've been responsible for generating and developing revenue.
  • A good or growing understanding of SaaS or technology-based products, or the ability to quickly learn and confidently talk about digital solutions.
  • A consultative sales approach, with the confidence to ask the right questions, understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that genuinely meet their needs.
  • Confidence engaging, presenting and influencing a range of stakeholders, from school leaders and educators to wider education partners.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and develop long-term relationships that lead to both new business and customer retention.
  • A proactive, target-driven mindset, motivated by achieving results while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales cycle, while supporting existing customers as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid and remote environment.
  • An interest in education and technology, with an appreciation that schools require a relationship-led, consultative approach rather than a traditional sales pitch.
  • A full driving licence, access to your own vehicle and the flexibility to travel regularly across South Africa, with occasional travel to the UK.
