The Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to key client groups by providing strategic and consultative guidance onidentifiedcollaborative initiatives, assessment of potential riskprofilesand conducting policy audits,proposalsand renewals. The ideal candidate willhave demonstratedsuccess in servicing key accounts while prioritizing and managing workflow to ensure efficient,timelyandaccuratedelivery of keyobjectives.

This position wouldoperatewithin Brown & Brown’s Private Equity group, Krauter and Company. Krauter & Company is a full-service international insurance and benefits broker that has reengineered the brokerage model to ensure delivery of the best risk management solutions our industry can offer.

How You Will Contribute:  

  • Participating in the retention of renewal business. Interacting with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwritingdataand related information in the marketing of insurance products.
  • Reviewing current policies and providing recommendationsregardingplacement options. Utilizing coverage checklists and a network of industry contacts to determineappropriate coverageand premiums.
  • Assistingon document issuance, data entry, and coverage approvals on advertising, television, feature film, documentary, and special event liability insurance programs.
  • Ensuring the client has continuous and proper coverage andadvisingthe client of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline.
  • Building andmaintainingconstructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Leveraging commercial entertainment insurance knowledge andexpertiseto actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managingappropriate systemrecords of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS accordingly.
  • Nurturing professional relationships through the facilitation of personal client meetings and consistent client contact.

Licenses & Certifications: 

  •  Valid State P&C brokers’ license

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • 3-5 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting.

Pay Range

$100,000 - $100,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
